ENTREPRENEURSHIP CONCLAVE

 

 

 

          An entrepreneurship conclave was organized by Btalks Innovations in association with Bisgate foundation on 10th April 2021 at hotel Hyacinth, Thiruvananthapuram. Students from SN training college were invited to participate the programme. Fourteen students of various departments under the leadership of entrepreneurship club attended the conclave. Staff coordinator of the club, Dr. Smitha also accompanied the students. 

 

             The function started at 10 am. Mrs. Sajitha G Nath, General Manager of Kerala Financial Cooperation was the chief guest for the inaugural session. She delivered the inaugural speech.  It was followed by an award giving ceremony in which many successful businessmen were honoured by the Business awards. As a token of appreciation for the participation, our college also received an award, the same was collected by ED club staff coordinator Dr. Smitha teacher, College union chairman Mr. Midhun ML and student coordinator of ED club Ms. Aswani Prassanan

 

 



 

              After the session, special guest of the function Mrs. Preethi Prakash was invited to address the gathering. She shared her experiences in the field of business and expressed her viewpoints on how success can be pursued. That was really an inspiring talk. 

 

            Mr. Sanu Sathar and Mr. Noyal George Also shared their business life experiences. The next session was handled by Mr. T. S. Chandran, Deputy Director of Department of Industries and Commerce, govt of Kerala. He explained the vast business possibilities behind some particular items like coconut candy, dry fruits, banana powder, jackfruit powder, tissue paper, dry packed spices, surgical gloves, corporate uniforms, fruit juices, online coaching, frozen food products, tomato products, coconut powder, Ayurveda products, mango pulp, fruit drinks, coffee seed processing, plastic water tanks etc. It was indeed an informative and useful session as he elaborated the ideas and strategies of launching products having great market value even with an investment of 20 lakh rupees only.

 



 

After the talk there was an interactive session.  Dr, Sanju Karayi, chairman of Bisgate foundation invited representatives of our college to share their business ideas. Aswani, Anjana, Sajin and Midhun shared their thoughts.

 

     The session was followed by lunch break after which business award presentations and entrepreneurs meet were conducted. Mr Rajesh Jha, Managing Director& CEO, Adani ports limited and Mr. JIJI Thomson IAS, former Chief Secretary were the chief guests. Padmasree Dr.J. Hareendran Nair, chairman of Pankajakasthoori, Mr S.N. Reghuchandran Nair, Presiden of Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce were honoured by business awards. A logo of Bisgate foundation was also released.
